ZLab launches an updated homepage and research forum
The updated bilingual ZLab website brings together the lab’s research, people, publications, and open resources, alongside a new forum for public and internal scientific discussion.
ZLab has completed a major update of its homepage. Guided by the theme “From biological language to precise design,” the new website reorganizes the lab’s research areas, people, publications, news, and bioinformatics resources into a clearer entry point for researchers, collaborators, and lab members.
The research section highlights biological foundation models, protein function prediction, protein design and engineering, plant genome editing, and systems biology. The publications page combines a featured-paper carousel with a complete archive; News reports project progress, publications, and platform updates; and Resources brings together software and online tools developed by ZLab.
The update also introduces the ZLab research forum. Approved members can start topics, reply, add tags, and filter discussions by tag. Authors may choose Public or ZLab Private visibility: public topics are readable by all visitors, whereas private topics are restricted to approved members. Users can maintain Chinese and English display names, email addresses, and passwords, and can delete their own topics.
The forum is intended for paper discussion, methods exchange, experimental collaboration, and project coordination. Members should register with their real identity, follow academic and copyright standards, and avoid posting unauthorized internal data, personal information, or confidential material. Super administrators review membership and may remove content that violates the rules or is unsuitable for public release.
ZLab will continue to update research outputs, tools, and team activities while refining the forum in response to practical use, building a long-term platform for scientific communication, knowledge sharing, and internal collaboration.
